To some of you, this news is brand new...and to others, you have been recently informed about our big moving news!
In about 3 weeks, John and I will be moving to Houston, Texas! You may be thinking...whoa...why? Well.. let me fill you in:
John was offered a job as the new Youth Director of a Church called Christ the King in Houston. Link: http://www.christtheking.com/
Anyway, it is an exceptional opportunity and something that excites us both very much. John has a challenging and fun job awaiting him and the church families there already adore him!
Bonus for me: I will be starting classes at Houston Baptist University to eventually obtain a masters of arts in Christian Counseling! This is a dream I have had for a long time so praise God for the way we have so graciously been shown ways to both pursue our dreams.
It is somewhat bittersweet thinking about leaving Raleigh and having to abruptly end my RUF internship at NC State has been hard in some ways, but we are absolutely thrilled about what awaits us in Houston. Its about time I moved back to Texas...don't you think!? : )
Thank you all for your support over the past year as we have been in Raleigh. For those of you who have financially supported me with RUF: be looking for more information via a newsletter which will tell you when I will be transitioning out of my RUF position and support. Please join us in prayer for our big move as we look for a house, travel, and settle into our new home.

First of all, THANK YOU for finally updating your blog, which I have been loyally checking on a daily basis since you created it. Second of all, if I haven't already said this, I/we are SO excited that y'all are moving to Houston :) Yeehaw!
